1/300 Sci-Fi Stuff: JR Miniatures
One of the great things about getting FFT3 out is that I'll finally get the chance to do a full blown set of Sci-Fi rules based on FFT. FFT:2030 will cover near future combat; Railgun: 2130 will cover far future combat. In anticipation for this, I've started looking around for sci-fi miniatures. I'll post the results here.
First up is JR Miniatures. They make a large range of miniature wargames terrain for modern, historical and sci-fi. Here are some examples of their 1/300 sci-fi terrain:

The Battletech figure is about 2-3 times the height of a 1/285 MBT model.

Ty;
Big fan of FFT and can't wait for FFT3.
A suggestion for your scifi rules is that I hope you keep figure scale to squad or platoon. Most, if not all, rules for futuristic is 1:1 and would like to see a larger scale for large battles. Yes, I expect future weapons to be more capable than todays systems but I like large scale battles with alot of figures. Just my .02$.
nice sci-fi job, i like it. i have a site about figurines & miniatures collecting i hope you like it.
It's amazing how the technology advances so fast. I remember being a kid, when I was seven years old, just thinking about the modern computers would have been pure fiction.
